LITERATURE PARADE

We can’t wait to see our students shine at the parade!
Please make sure your child arrives on time—late arrivals may miss out.
Families may watch from designated viewing areas only to help keep the parade moving smoothly. Please avoid blocked parking zones.
Costume Tips:
• Keep it school-appropriate and comfortable.
• Masks are for the parade only.
• No weapons or look-alike accessories.
• Safe shoes, please!
• Students may bring a change of clothes for later in the day.

The testing window for the Gifted and Talented (GT) Kinder Stage One will take place from October 20 to October 31, 2025. 25-26 Enrolled CCISD Kindergarten students will be tested at their current campus and do not need to complete any GT applications to participate in the testing. For information and questions regarding the Gifted & Talented program and testing, please contact the Office of Advanced Academics at 361-695-722, email: advancedacademics@ccisd.us, or visit their website at: https://www.ccisd.us/page/gifted-and-talented-program. If you do not want your child to take the GT test, please complete the Opt-Out link that was sent to your email address on file with the school.
