Kaffie hosted Stop Hack Go with students grades 6-12 from around the Coastal Bend. Students had to build a weather station using sensors, code it, collect weather data, develop a proposal for a fiction city's emergency management agency for improvements on current technology.

On Saturday, fourteen of our Kaffie Dolphins competed at the CCISD UIL competition.
In the math category, Athan Estrada placed fifth.
In the Art competition,. Margaret Charles placed first. Kaffie placed third.
In the Impromptu Speaking Preliminary competition, Claire Meldrum advanced to the finals where she placed third.
In Number Sense, Athan Estrada placed fifth.
In Social Studies, Preston Lopez placed sixth. Kaffie placed third.
In Editorial Writing, Nia Bhakta placed sixth and Tamra Ortiz-Gutierrez placed third.
In the Spelling competition, Athan Estrada placed fourth.
In the Science competition, Tamara Ortiz-Gutierrez placed fifth.
In the Listening competition, Nia Bhakta placed sixth.
