Requirements for "Early End" of the School Year
Optical Flexible School Year Program (OFYP)

  • Pass all core courses with yearly average of 70 or higher.
  • Pass appropriate State Assessments (STAAR)
  • Be in Attendance 90% of the days the class is offered

Last day for those with passing standards is May 31st.

The Mighty Dolphin Yearbook will be delivered to students during 7th period on Friday, May 24th.  All text/library books and athletic uniforms must be turned in.  Any student with outstanding fines will not be able to receive their yearbook until fines are cleared with the front office.  

The Administration has designated yearbook signing days to be on Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday,  and May 29th ONLY. Yearbooks are not allowed on campus on any other days (books will be picked up if seen by staff).  

Yearbooks can still be purchased on May 24th through the end of the year. They are $35 - cash only.

As we prepare for the many activities throughout the school year, we continue to stress the importance of attendance and preparation which are critical for learning. I ask that you assure your child is prepared for the days ahead. Books, materials, homework and other assignments should be organized and ready for each day.
